The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is expected to release solicitation documents in early 2023 for its IT-based multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS) 2.0. This is the follow-on contract to DLA’s initial JETS suite of contracts: J6 Enterprise Technology Services, JETS Group A (Small Business), and JETS Group B (8(a)).
JETS 2.0 is positioned to become DLA’s primary IT services and operations vehicle for the next decade, and the agency may consolidate stand-alone IT requirements. The agency has not yet released its plans for small business participation or the total number of awards.
DLA is seeking contractors offering a full range of IT, technical, and management services supporting 50+ systems and administrative program management offices across the agency, including IT program offices and DLA Information Operations (J6) Office. According to a draft Statement of Work (SOW) issued by the agency, JETS 2.0 will also support the DLA IT R&D program, which executes programs and projects for all of DLA participating in programs in the Defense Industrial Base Manufacturing and Small Business Innovation Research areas.
DLA indicated general service areas it intends to address with Task Orders, including:
- Task Area 1: Network and Telecommunication Services
- Task Area 2: Technology Services
- Task Area 3: Enterprise Service Delivery (ESD)
- Task Area 4: Defense Business System (DBS) Life Cycle Management: Acquisition, Development, Sustainment, Maintenance and Technical Support
